These bad boys get the job done. I'm using them for a steering column for a no world go kart. I needed to swap out the bearings from a slightly different style pillow block in favor of a different shaped bearing i wanted for my application.It was very simple tp remove and reinstall the bearings. I gently clamped one end into a vice and then stuck a rod that is the same or similar diameter as the center hole of the bearing and just turned it sideways and the bearing popped right out. You could also just use a screwdriver, just watch your knuckles.
