I was having hyperflash when I changed all light bulbs in my truck to LED. I also pull a boat trailer with LEDs. It's a big boat with lots of lights on the trailer, and it works perfect.

Bought this to upgrade my 06' Tacoma Sport to LED turn signals. Device works great, no hyperflash. I do notice my signals now flash once more after I cancel them and they never used to do that. Not a problem though. YMMV when it comes to installation. I bought my truck with an afermarket tow package installed. Turns out the area around the fuse box where this relay is installed was an absolute rat's nest of wires. Getting to the back of the fuse box to install this and putting everything back together again without pinching anything was a bear. Would not want to ever do it again.

Installed in 2006 Scion xB to be able to use LED lights in the turn signals. Prevented hyperflash once LED bulbs installed, but every time turn signal stock self-cancelled, it flashed three times in the opposite direction. This may be because my car never had the feature where if you tap the stick it flashes a few times for a lane change; I have to turn the turn signal on manually to change lanes and then cancel. But the new relay is so sensitive that when the turn signal self-cancels, the spring action must briefly hit the other side, which activates this feature in the relay. Just put the old relay and bulbs back in. I can live without LED turn signals in my old heap, and for the price I didn't even bother returning. Just thought I'd mention this to warn others.

Worked great for my 2002 Celica, it is a little bigger than the original and wont look identical as far as the plug goes, but still installed perfectly. Did the job in about 20 minutes; Cured my hyperflashing and didn't have to bust out my wire stripper so I'm happy. It's been in for over a month with no problems and frequent use.

This little thing works good on my bike. They kindly labeled the pins, making installation easy peasy, just make sure the wire from the connector goes b-b, l-l, and e-e and you should have no issues. On mine the connector for the relay was very very tight, which is good and bad (won't fall out accidently, but be careful installing). Overall good product for price, only 3 wire I could find with a connector included.

The adapter and relay feel extremely cheap. The blades on the adapter were significantly too wide to fit in a 2003 Honda Civic and required modification. However, the relay works so I can deal with it. The flash feels a bit faster than stock but definitely better than hyper flash and without using load resistors.

Important to note that this flasher works differently from standard series driven flashers. You need to modify how it is wired into your circuit if using it with an add-on turn signal switch. The + lead goes to 12 VDC, the "L" lead to the light/switch circuit being operated, the - lead goes to negative of the battery circuit.Consider this is an electronic device, so it needs supply voltage and ground to operate. Once load is detected on the "L" terminal, the lighting load will flash and the device will click on and off. I'm using it on my golf cart, but I assume it is a plug-in replacement for some particular automobiles. This will not be a plug-in replacement for series connected flashers where the - terminal goes to the lights and the L terminal to the dashboard or switch indicator. But, when wired correctly, it works with the minimal current draw of LEDs up to incandescent car lamps. My golf cart has LEDs in the front, regular bulbs in the rear.A search on the internet for this part number will lead you to the electrical circuit diagram. Or see the attached diagram. With the typical add-on switch and this flasher, you cannot connect the in-switch indicator, the lights will then light continuously.

My turn signals now get proper power, they just don’t flash. They come on and stay on. Yay so useful..
