I bought different brands to search for the best. I also cut some with scissors. For LPVO this is my favorite, better than scope shield. I do like other brands for different scopes. This fits 9.5"-11.5" no problem, it stays in place and can also cover my red dot 45° backup sight. No slam on scope shield. I really like them and will continue to buy their products

This is a well built soft cover for a scope. This will fit smaller scopes well. Does not fit my long range rifle but works great on my AR15.

I have become averse to flip up scope caps, especially the ones that don't fold flat (I'm looking at you, Butler Creek). My major gripe is that they hinder finer eye adjustments for me since I alternate between progressives and contacts. Also, they don't protect the scope body. So I've started looking at scope covers. This one intrigued me since it's designed to attached to the rifle when removed from the scope. That feature works. I ordered one of these to test fit on an 11.8" Athlon Helos Gen 2 2-12x42 with large locking target turrets. I've had enough experience with these scope covers to know that the stated maximum lengths are usually very optimistic. They are usually tested on hunting scopes with small capped turrets. Although my example does stretch (with some effort) to 13.5 inches, getting it to fit on a scope that size with target turrets isn't going to happen. At first I had difficulty getting this to fit on my Helos 2-12x, but it did stretch enough after a few minutes of use. Clearly a product like this can't be tested on every variety of scope and the manufacturer can only give general measurements. I've had more fitment issues with the neoprene style than this one. If you have a LPVO, this should work without issues. If you are wanting to cover an MPVO or larger scope, be aware that those with larger turrets will need to be shorter than the stated maximum length. I'm very satisfied with mine, so I've ordered four more to use on other Helos Gen 2 2-12x42s that I own.

This is not 13½in. My scope measures 13½in on the nose and this will not stretch to fit over it.
