Perfect fit in the basement wall rod-holes. These corks are high-quality and arrived promptly by mail. I used these corks to replace deteriorated ones that the builder had installed. With a 5/8 inch dowel, I drove a cork about 7 inches into each hole then cleaned out the hole and filled it with cement. I used hydraulic cement but it sets up really fast so maybe patching cement would be a better choice.

I needed just a few corks, but these were so cheap, I got a bag of em. I needed for a craft project to plug some salt shakers. These were high quality corks without defects. Recommended.
