Oil used on a foam main & crankcase air filters on a '92 Yamaha Riva 125 scooter. Appears of decent quality & blue in color. Suits my needs & if I hadn't found this, had planned to used standard high quality 2T oil. Either way, won't mix it up w/the scooters 4T engine oil requirement. Applied to the foam pads & rolled excess oil out. Kinda strong scent, used in a well ventilated area(outside of the garage)...

I got this to oil the foam filter for my new Yamaha generator. But, keep in mind it will work with any foam filter that needs oiling not just Yamaha's. I was impressed with the oil, it was a thin enough consistency that it was quite easy to oil the filter. I removed the filter from the generator first then I just dribbled some on the filter. It is then thin enough to penetrate immediately down into the filter. Then I simply patted out the excess oil with a clean paper towel. The Yamaha manual warns not wring the filter as it may tear. It has a bluish/purplish color which makes it easier to see where you have put it depending on the color of your filter. But, it was also nice when patting with a white paper towel because I could easily see how much I was getting out. I poked a small hole in the foil cover opening so I didn't have to worry about accidentally pouring more than I meant. For some reason the bottle I was sent did not have a lid and it was no where in the box. But, I think that was a fluke and a problem with the shipper not the product itself. Luckily the foil safety cover kept it from leaking. I simply store it with a plastic bag over it secured by a rubber band.I will attach some pics as well.
