Fast delivery. Installed in the boat and did a quick test and everything seems fine! Would be nice to include some information on the 3 pin settings for trim, alternator type and 2-stroke/4-stroke but was able to figure out thankfully due to some old Internet forums.

I have a 2004 Wellcraft, center console with a 2-stroke, 50 hp Yamaha outboard hanging on it; my multi-function Yamaha gauge stopped working a couple of years back and I hesitated in replacing it because of the cost of a dealer doing the R&R. After another summer of not having a working tach I decided to replace it myself, I should have done it years ago!This is the OEM replacement for my original and the harness is color-coded to the original so switching it out was a breeze. One great feature is the elimination of the metal bracket that held the original in place with tiny nuts, this one has a threaded ring, locking the gauge in place by simply screwing it onto the body of the gauge. It couldn't have been an easier install.
