The price is Ok, however if you can look for this mode locally you might save a couple hundreds, overal the performance of this instrument is amazing along with the quality of the sound

We love this thing! It has a great tone, it’s easy for my children to operate (we have a first time pianist in our home), and it’s aesthetically pleasing. It doesn’t have a ton of features that we’ll never use, and it has great and varied recorded pieces in addition to the many instrument voices it can simulate. I especially appreciate that it closes similarly to a traditional piano and came with a bench. It will serve us well.

Easy to install. Great for beginners without having to spend too much on expensive piano. This also comes with some preset music that you can get the piano to play on its own if you want to enjoy some piano classic. Nice!

I've waited most of my years for the opportunity to sit at a grand piano, but the chances always seemed to elude me.Purchasing the real thing was certainly out of the question, not only because of the price, but because I live in a small apartment.Yamaha to the rescue! Somehow, someway, they managed to squeeze a 9-foot concert grand into this space-saving unit, and I am completely amazed by the tone and clarity it produces. This YDP-103 model is one of the least expensive of Yamaha's line of instruments, but I can't imagine the realistic sound being any better. Possibly when you pay more for other models you're getting more furniture supporting and surrounding the keyboard, but I don't think my ears would be able to tell the difference in the actual quality of tone.It arrived well-packed, and was quite easy to assemble. I'm still discovering its many functions, and I expect that to be an enjoyable learning process. In the meantime, if the only sound it ever produced was the authentic beauty of a masterfully crafted 9-foot concert grand, it would still be more than worth the money. This is simply one of the best purchases I've ever made in my life!Now, if I could only play like Rachmaninoff...

11.2020 - I bought this piano last year as a Christmas present. It worked for maybe a month. It was played like 5 times before it just stopped working. It was a few days after the last day to return it. We have had trouble trying to get it repaired. It is currently at a repair shop. I wish I had not purchased this item. Hopefully, it will be repaired before the warranty runs out. Otherwise we are out $$$ and the time spent trying to get it repaired.3.13.2021 - We are stll wating for the the piano to be repaired. It has been at the repair shop since September 2020. They are waiting on a part from Yamaha. It has been over a year and we do not have a working piano. I do not recommend.

A great add-on during the lockdown period.Two thumbs up for design and sound quality.Quite easy to assemble.Please read the manual carefully for tons of hidden functions to play various tunes automatically.
