Our heavy-duty metal wick trimmer clips wicks to 1/8" to ensure a clean, even flame for a longer lasting candle and maximum fragrance. Long enough to reach the bottom of our Large Jar Candles, the Perfect Wick Trimmer's design also easily lets you remove the clipped wick safely. You can't do that with a pair of scissors! Caring for your Candles: To enjoy your candles to their fullest, a certain amount of care is required. Keeping their wicks trimmed properly will help your candles burn fully and last longer. Specifically, your candle's wick should be trimmed after every 4 hours of burn time. Let the candle come to room temperature, then trim the wick to 1/8-inch before relighting. That length helps create complete combustion, which means less soot is formed while the candle is burning. This is where our Perfect Wick Trimmer comes in - place the bottom of the trimmer flush with the candle surface, rock the trimmer back so that its "elbow" rests on the surface, this keeps the trimmer at a 45-degree angle and helps ensure the cut is to the proper length. Simple! Enjoy your candles and their fragrances, then repeat again after every 4 hours of burn time..

Lovely and functional. Just what I was looking for. I like that it has an almost 90 degree angle for easily reaching down into those taller jar candles. And I love the beautiful shimmery color. The only issue I might share is that it had a tag with $11.00, I paid $14.00. I also noticed that each time I checked this product before buying that the price kept going down. It is now listed at $11.97 as of my last check. Wish I would have waited before buying at the higher price. The product itself is great.

ALWAYS trim your wicks & avoid that nasty black soot that otherwise comes from a sloppy unkempt wick!! I have never gone WITHOUT one of these in a room with my Yankee large jar candles!! 🕯 A quick trim each time before relighting & you will be happier & that jar won’t ever be black!!! Enjoy!!!

Decided to purchase this more expensive candle wick trimmer after reading the poor reviews on the cheaper competition. This one was well worth the cost. It works perfectly on even the deepest candle jars, cutting the wick smoothly and cleanly every time. The pearlescent color is lovely. Would recommend this one to everyone.

Love that the angle of the cutter is very nearly 90 degrees. I can trim the wick of a deep jar candle easily and the catch area means no residue in my candles.

The ones with less than a 90 degree angle which is almost all of them are a real problem to get a good cut when wick is deep down.This works perfectly.
