This product appears to have been made with sloppy QC as compared to the OEM sensor on the Jeep XJ. It is dimensionally similar, but the internal pins are not large enough to stop it from being able to plug in and be read by the computer. Therefore, this product is useless. This may be a quality control issue or I may have been shipped the wrong part.

This IAC valve fit perfectly in my 1998 Jeep Wrangler. After installing along with new MAPS and Throttle Position Sensor, Idle speed dropped from almost 2,000 RPM to 800-900 RPM. I was unsure which sensor was bad so I changed all three. Great value for the price and very easy to remove and install.

This item did not exactly fit as there was no ability for the new valve to connect to the wiring harness. I guess this is fairly typical of non OEM parts however it does seem to resolve the issue so not exactly a terrible purchase. Just be sure that you have a back-up plan or have the ability to change out your harness.
