The wooden rabbit hideout arrived with several loose screws rattling around in the box, and upon inspection, several pre-drilled holes were completely misaligned. The wood quality was embarrassingly poor, with rough, splintered edges that could potentially harm small pets and visible knots that compromised the structure's integrity. The advertised "easy assembly" turned into a two-hour nightmare as none of the pieces fit together properly, requiring significant force that caused the thin plywood to crack in several places. The door hinge was made of cheap plastic that broke off during the first attempt to open it, rendering the "hideout" feature completely useless. The supposedly water-resistant coating was so thin that the first cleaning attempt caused the wood to warp and bubble, making the entire structure unstable. The size dimensions listed in the product description were inaccurate by several inches, making the hideout too small for my adult rabbit to use comfortably. The ventilation holes were poorly placed and too small, creating potential safety concerns for any animal inside. The roof piece arrived warped and wouldn't lay flat, creating gaps that could allow drafts or trap small paws. The paint or stain used on the wood had a strong chemical smell that persisted even after days of airing out. The "detachable" feature was a joke, as the connecting pieces were so poorly designed that they either wouldn't stay together or became impossible to separate once assembled. The floor panel was made of such thin material that it sagged under my guinea pig's weight. The edges of the entrance were so roughly cut that they needed to be covered with tape to prevent injury. The product description claimed this was "professional grade," but it looks and feels like a poorly executed craft project. After just one week of use, the entire structure began to fall apart, proving to be both a waste of money and a potential hazard to pets.

I got two and it's easy to set up and surprisingly sturdy. My bunnies love hiding in it and sitting on top looking around.
