After some time I can say I regret buying this station. All its functions work somewhat, but all of them are like cheap budget. The iron is a generic model identical to so much other manufacturers. I have so much difficulty to solder with it. The tips heating surface is uneven. By the time I succeed melting my lead-free solder, I most likely burn my PCBs or damage my pads. And I tried something like 6 different tips. It's all the same. The rework air gun is not bad. Not much to complain about. The desoldering gun is very average. Tips are also heated unevenly. Without applying some new solder on the tip and a lot of flux, you won't melt anything with it. Suction is decent but the collection chamber clogs all the time. It must be cleaned very often. The gun takes forever to heat to its temperature and suction button won't work until a minute or two AFTER the target temp is reached. This is very annoying. And you can't use both soldering iron and desoldering gun at the same time. This is what frustrates me the most with this station. Construction looks good to me though. I tend to believe it will last many years without breaking apart. The iron is so difficult to work with that I suspected the temperature was not even close to the setting on the station. I measured it with thermocouple tester and it seems to be 50 to 70 degrees F under the set temperature. This is bothersome as well. At that price I knew I would not get the best the world can offer and that's why I regret my purchase. Like I too often realized in my life and still don't listen to my experience, you're better to wait, pay more and have the best. I will most surely replace this station with three separate Hakko stations. If you don't need top class or professional results, maybe this station is for you.

I have no complaints at all about the Yihua. I've been using it for several months now and it has performed flawlessly. The soldering iron gets the most use. Temperature is accurate, heats up very quickly, maintains temperature properly during use.The desoldering gun works surprisingly well. I've had very mixed results with other brands. This one just works, although it does take a while to come up to working temperature. The hot air gun doesn't get a lot of use but when I've needed it I have had no problems with that either.Overall I like it a great deal and think it's good value for the money.

I've been a hobbyist my entire life and have been known to do a bit of soldering here and there, but as things get smaller and smaller, the tools become less and less useful. I eventually found myself needing to remove a chip from a microcontroller board to replace it and lacking the tools to do so.I could have just gotten a hot air rework station by itself and called it a day, but I realized my poor old soldering iron was getting a bit worn out so I decided I'd get one with a soldering iron too, and then I saw a video of someone using a desoldering sucker and knew I had to have one.Lucky for me, there's an option to get all three in one nice package. I didn't even realize the machine had the small suction grabber for pulling and holding chips when using hot air, definitely a bonus that I wasn't expecting.I've used it a lot by now, and wanted to do so before I put in a review. The soldering iron is excellent, it heats quickly and has absolutely never let me down, grab yourself a set of extra tips of different formfactors and you'll be good to go.The desoldering gun took some learning, and I managed to clog it up pretty bad a few times before I got good at it. The trick seems to be holding the suction down until the solder is pulled all the way to the back of the internal catching spring. Once I got the hang of it, I was using it to pull through-hole components in record time. As a bonus, it's also pretty darn good at cleaning up pads without having to use solder wick. The air gun is why I got it in the first place, and it did the job I got it for without any effort, removed the chip and replaced it within 10 minutes of getting the machine and I've used it dozens of times since. It's reliable, heats quickly, and has all the tips you need to put the heat exactly where it needs to go.The small suction cup wand that I didn't realize it included is pretty awesome, I didn't even realize a tool like this existed, with the right cup on it you can get a lock on a chip so tight it'll lift the entire board off the table if you pull hard enough. This makes it trivial to pull chips without having to use tweezers, and even works for reinstalling them. A small dab of flux can help secure the suction if things are a bit dry. I didn't know I wanted it, but I don't know if I can ever go back to not having one.Overall, 10 out of 10, I couldn't be happier with it. The extra components and usage of standard parts for things like iron tips and heat carts just makes things all the better when the time comes to replace consumables.

Buen producto, pero para desoldar le hace falta mas potencia de succión y de la pistola de aire caliente...

I've owned and used this unit for about a month now. This unit is a nice improvement on previous models as it has a separate hookup for the iron, and the de-soldering iron. However, you can only have one turned on at a time. Meaning, if your using the iron, you can't be using the de-solder iron at the same time - which can be a pain sometimes, because you have to wait for it to reheat when you switch to the other iron. The de-solder iron works great for PCB use - I love it - be careful not to overheat your PCB with it or it will burn the trace right off. The Stand for the iron & de-solder iron is a single combined unit, that is kind of a pain - I wish there was a separate sand for each. The sand is made very cheap, and I have had to keep fixing it, as it keeps coming apart. They should have a stand for each unit. The controls are super easy to use, ONCE you ready the directions! When in de-solder mode, the suction won't turn on until it has reached the heat level you set. Also, there is a "Vacuum" button on the control panel - this button ONLY works when it is in SOLDERING mode, and it is for you to hook up a tube to the vacuum and use a suction cup to hold things like chips, while you solder them. The Vacuum button does nothing in de-soldering mode. The heat gun that is included works great too - but be careful, I have already burned my fingers, even being careful - its insane how hot it can get, but you can control the heat level. The heat gun will continue to run its fan even when you turn it off, unit it cools off enough - then it shuts down. The unit is made of nice quality steel and the control panel is also high quality controls - no plastic, except the on/off switches. Overall, I am happy with the unit, and I hope they include a separate stand for the de-soldering iron, and another one for the regular soldering iron, because the combined stand is a bit cumbersome and small.

Excellent unit, air blower for heating shrink wrap tubing work well, takes a little time to heat up but has a nice shutdown safety feature when you turn the unit off the air in the gun keeps flowing until the unit is cool enough to not be a hazard. 3 Memory temperature preset one can used for various solder types and heat shrink types.Desolder gun has works very well, sucks the solder up with a pull of the trigger making it the easiest desolder process I've ever performed. You can NOT run both solder and desolder gun at the same time, this is most likely due to household current limits as the unit is already at 780 watt rating, trying to run air heater, desolder gun, and solder gun all at the same time will likely exceed 1500 watt (15Amp) rating of most 110v US house hold circuits and trigger home fuse. It would however have been nice if both could be plugged in and have a switch to enable One or the Other but not both desolder and solder at the same time.
