gênant car les fixations sont situées trop au milieu et marquent mon coup quand je suis sans protection(tee shirt sans col). Ce qui n'était pas le cas avec la mentonnière plus réduite.

As a left-handed fiddler, I thought this chin rest was worth a try. Unfortunately, the screws are too short to clamp the thing onto my 4/4 Strad copy. It might be barely possible if I removed the cork padding, but I really don't want to mar the old violin's finish anymore than it already is. What a shame! I was really looking forward to a genuine over-the-tailpiece left-handed chin rest! Glad it was only $15.Update: By removing all the cork and replacing it with sticky-backed moleskin padding, I was able to finally clamp this thing onto the fiddle. While it felt very nice while I was playing, I got another surprise when I tried to put the fiddle back in the case. The lid wouldn't close without forcing it! The new chin rest is taller than my old one and I'd prefer not having the lid squeezing down on any part of the fiddle, even the chin rest. Once again, I'm glad it was only fifteen bucks!

Came with the chin rest only and nothing to attach to the violin. Pretty frustrating considering how long shipping took. Update: seller sent missing bracket. Works as intended.
