I am thrilled to have this ice machine, especially with how hot this summer has been. I have had many ice machines over the years and they vary in quality but this one is a true winner. Ive been running it all the time for a month and it keeps that ice coming. The cubes form quickly and it keeps up with me, and I am a big ice using gal. The stainless steel is solid and attractive, and much nicer than the typical plastic I have has in the past. The way this machine works is smart and it doesn't jam with ice thinking the machine is full. I recommend this ice machine. When I write this review a commercial machine is shown so please not I am reviewing a countertop model. Recommend!

This unit is small enough to be considered "portable". It works easily & quickly, and it can be stowed away easily. A good value!

I've never owned an ice maker, but I'm used to friends and hotels refrigerator ice makers. I knew a countertop would run different, but this model will take getting used to.It's not too heavy and doesn't take up a lot of counter space, about same as my coffee maker. It states that that you get about 9 cubes every 4-6 minutes. I set it for the small cubes and am getting 4 to 5 cubes every 8 to 9 minutes. This is a lot slower than I expected but I'll give the company the benefit of the doubt and assume that whoever wrote up their description reversed the numbers accidently.With all this in mind, it appears to be a decent make and it does make ice cubes. Just plan ahead if you are going to want or need some.It makes up cubes slower than expected and I don't see much difference in size of the large and small. There is a light that comes on when hopper is full and another that lets you know when it needs more water. A nicer alternative would be an audible alert as I only notice if I physically go and check the ice maker,All in all, a nice ice maker that's quiet and sufficient for a small household.
