I dislike that product because it’s looks nice but in reality the product is really cheap and the parts break easily.Not recommended for to lock your hoods. 👎👎👎

They look good and function as regular hood latches, but the locks are cheap and break easily. The locking mechanism is thin and malleable. One side bent when pulled on and the latch opened. The other one just broke completely. (See pics) This is not a good choice for locking your hood.

They work as latches but the lock was easily broken and one of the keys broke while trying to lock the latch. By the way 4 keys but they all work for both latches

Easy to install. Once installed I tried locking. On side worked great, the other side didn’t. I swapped things around to see if that would fix it, but didn’t. I ended up bending the tab to get it to lock correctly. After locked it feels like you can still open it with a little force bending the locking mechanism. I guess it’s just made to keep people honest. Find something strong if you can.

This is a quick and easy update to your Jeep hood. These locking hood latches look great and work just as well. The flag is prominent and can be seen/recognized easily. They are tight and lock down the hood perfectly.
