Threads not correct. Pipe thread is supposed to snug when installed. This part allows fittings to bottoms out and won’t seal.

Heavier than expected. It's 304SS and used with 1/4 barb fittings for a fuel pressure gauge. To avoid leaks, I highly recommend gas pipe teflon tape (yellow, thicker stuff). I used the thinner tape (blue for water lines) and it leaked even when wrapped 2x around.
