I only gave this a 4 star because I did not use it long. I bought because I needed to replace the one I was using. The one I had was so dull it was catching the saw dust on fire. I was using it to cut in for some hinges.

Have been using this quite a while. Probably only have cut about 125 feet with it but haven't noticed and chips, dulling, or dents. I cut mostly MDF

ordered this to replace a bit that would have otherwise cost me $95. Just took the bearing off the old bit and everything else lined up perfectly .... probably saved 60 - 70 dollars ...
