Fit 2006 F250TXRI had to use an air hammer to remove old caps which of course required new caps. These fit and seem to be working fine after several full cycles of trim no leaks.Time will tell but so far so good

These are garbage. They leaked more than my originals. The threads damaged my housing costing me huge money

been a couple years now and trim caps still look good and do not leak . i replaced 4 on twin Yamaha 250 4 strokes ,first one was a learning curve but the rest about 5 minutes to change i will say getting old ones off a 20 year old motor was a little aggravating and trim cap wrench was worthless to use to get broke free just kept braking the pins off the wrench , i found a trick that to brake them free , first make sure motor is up and locked with no pressure on cylinder rock the switch to get a neutral position up and down just a bump or 2 and there is a bleeder screw usually on the starboard side near the bottom of the mounting bracketing in a hole that is the manual override screw incase your at the ramp and it want go up or down for some reason , it has a screw driver head but most of the time you got to use a impact screw driver to break free the one you hit with a hammer not a battery operated big deference ,then motor will be able to manual tilt by hand up and down ,it lets the pressure go both ways up and down , if cap wrench does not break free trim cap then if you have a air chisel just put at angle in pin wrench hole holding tight at a angle counter clockwise rotation for off and give it a go it should hammer enough to break free and then finish with wrench once started and yes it will deform the pin wrench hole but not enough to worry about its going to be changed with new anyway correct ,and do not try to chisel were cap meets cylinder it will damage cylinder and then your talking big money ,just the pin holes only ,i used the chisel looks like a punch , seem like the easiest way, some times they get locked on from age and corrosion , also very important cover shaft with some tape or rag so in case you slip you don't hit and scar the piston shaft , i cleaned the shafts really good when reinstalling and a little grease on the threads make sure not to get debris in cylinder, clean good before starting and inspect shaft for nicks or scars also make sure you rinse them piston off after boating to clean any salt or dirt or anything else you might get on them everything can cause it to damage seal salt dirt fishing line dried grease sand whatever , i had one piston that was a little scared from something hitting it so i used some 2000 grit wet sand and cleaned the scar and it worked fine ,if you have a big chip then you will have to replace the piston ,but its not bad just pull it out and replace with new ,comes right out then change o rings or transfer to new piston when done before checking oil make sure to tighten bleeder screw back and tilt motor all the way up and check fluid level , if you get air pocket lower motor down and up a few times and recheck oil level it should just be at the oil fill hole , but so far so good 2 years and still working fine ,and i use it most every weekend , i thought this might help some one and help with the job at hand ,i would recommend and buy again

I installed these on my 2016 Yamaha F300 and they fit perfectly. The seal retainers aren’t quite as reassure as I would like but I haven’t had either of them move or try to so I think I’m just being paranoid. I would buy them again

So this Cap fit perfectly and my tilt/trim is working again. It's been 3 weeks... no issues. However when I removed the Yamaha cap it had a small "channel" feature at the base of the cap that I've read helps with pneumatic pressure relief ? I actually don't know what the feature does, the cap is working. So just an FYI.
