I used this for a custom built coil winder. I used an automotive rubber file line for flex coupling. Worked as expected, very reliable and easy to reset.

It rotates smoothly. It's nice that the counter does 1/10th rotations. I haven't opened it up inside, but it feels hefty and well built.
