This product works great for flushing your membranes it has a bypass valve when you want to flush you shut off the valve and it goes to the restrictor which you have to have a restrictor on so you can make reverse osmosis water and I believe this one here was for a 50 GPD membrane

The clips used to hold line in place and prevent leaks were not included (10 clips are needed). Tubing was not precut to size like you’d expect with a “kit”.

I purchased a R/O unit and was wondering how to maximize the life of the R/O filter read I needed a flush kit then found out for a 100 GPD R/O filter the restrictor should be a 800. I only had a 450 that came with the filter unit. My ppm was at a 2 to 5 with my unit now its 0 (I also have a DI) after I changed out to the flush kit with the correct flow restrictor. Has changed waste water ratio from 3:1 to about 5:! that's the trade off.

After rebuilding my RO unit, with new filters, shut-off valve, and installing the new Flush Kit valve, I noticed no water moving through the unit. With process of elimination, I found that the sticker on the flow restrictor was put on backwards. The arrow was pointing in the wrong direction. A mistake that caused me a big headache. Hope this information helps others.

UPDATE: Six Months after installing I had occasion to test the amount of waste water produced by this valve on my RO.IT GENERATED OVER THREE GALLONS OF WASTE WATER FOR EVERY QUART OF WATER FILTERED!!After eliminating all other possible causes I ordered a name brand restricter valve. Lesdon learned.ORIGINAL: Really? You can't be bothered to provide the little blue clips toock the push connection? This product is sold specifically for RO installations that are almost always installed in an under-sink cabinet. Just hoping the line doesn't get pulled out isn't enough.I'd like to give you one star for this but since you didn't actually mention the clips, you get two.
