Good quality product. The only reason I don't give it 4 stars was because I have little dogs and I wish the clasps were smaller and weighed less.

Quality item at a great price. If another is ever needed i wont hesitate to replace it with the same (only wish other colors were available when i purchased)It has been a wonderful training tool for keeping my boys (all Labs) together (when they can't be loose to run) on walks.

A friend and I walked our dogs together. I was OK with me walking my little dog on a leash but my friend liked to run with the dogs. Her two Labradoodles are just under 100 lbs each! My little dog (12 pounds) loved keeping up with them and actually had more energy than they did. The problem was with three leashes getting tangled and trying to keep them neatly in hand.This solved the problem! I bought this for my friend and she just clips the third line into the leash coupling ring when she is taking just her two out. The size difference between the dogs didn't seem to matter. It did take them, the dogs, a couple of outings to get used to running side-by-side and not continually do a May Pole bit but once they did the runs went smoothly.4 stars because you have to be patient with the dogs until they get used to staying close to each other and not wandering off every which way. This is really just a part of training and not a "fault" with the coupler.

This product didn't work for my dogs. One dog would take off and drag the others behind. They still got tangled and when they did they were too closed to each other and would start to fight. I know a lot of it has to do with training but it works better for me to just have them on separate leashes.

Seems to be what I was thinking it was. It's a gift from the puppy Santa for friends that have three dogs to walk at the same time, so I can't say how it'll work or the sturdiness of it, we'll find out after Santa comes. ;)
