Had a nasty buzz. Did the pickup cavities, back of my pick guard, and the control harness cavity and my buzz is gone. Really easy to work with and surprisingly didn’t slice my fingers at all.

The tape is so thin that if you are not paying attention, the adhesive sticks to anything. So you will waste some of the product on your project.

This copper tape has a thickness of 0.05mm (0.002") including adhesive and is reasonably strong to not break in normal application. I measured the resistance using a Fluke DVM using the non-sharp parts of the probes. The meter showed infinite resistance. When using the pointed tips I was able to break through the adhesive layer and obtain a resistance of 0.1 ohm over a distance between probes of a few mm. So the adhesive tape is NOT conductive as stated. The cross section of the 1" tape is about 1mm squared meaning this tape should be capable of carrying a current of 4-6 amps if properly soldered to the external circuit. I would not depend on the adhesive layer as an insulation layer since it is very thin and could be easily damaged.

Bought this as a snail and slug deterrent. Works wonders and keeps them off my flower sprouts. The snails and slugs were devouring them as soon as they broke ground. I just put a single layer around the pot and problem solved.

Taught myself stained glass to replace windows in my home. I prefer the wider soldering to make the windows look older. Understand that it is thin and can tear easily if you are rough with it. If you are gentle with the application it works wonderfully. I use the back of a spoon to press it down.

Exactly as expected for copper tape. I have the industrial kind and work and was not sure what I would get from Amazon. Copper tape works well for kids' STEM flashlight project. As can be seen in photo, copper tape comes with a paper backing, which when peeled off exposes adhesive on one side. The paper backing is actually really nice to enable sharing / dividing cut pieces into individual kits without having to pass around a roll of tape. Unlike other reviews, I found the sticky side to be conductive. Photo shows the current conducts to the LED through the sticky side of tape and battery sits directly on exposed side. Circuit is completed /closed with binder clip (not a great switch, but it is cheap).

I can't replace my battery clamps easily because they have a built-in fuse that would require some OEM parts I don't feel like wasting money on. The clamps had become just loose enough that they's sometimes wiggled off. I used some of this copper foil tape around the insides of the clamps to reduce their circumference and the problem has been solved. I have a ton of tape left, but this was a fairly inexpensive and quick fix.
