I purchased this cord to replace the block heater cord on my 2008 Ford Ranger with a 4L engine. The orientation of the heater cord plug is opposite the plug connection on the block heater and will not fit. It's unfortunate because the cord is a quality product.

The quality is great just as the original one I had replaced it with. Very easy to install just make sure it’s routed away from the exhaust system.

According to Amazon auto garage it's supposed to fit the plug end was right but with it being so short only way I would of been able to run it would be right against my exhaust which would of melted it in hours needs about 30 more inches to run proper the OEM one is obviously the right length this one is way to short

The plug is a 90 degree end not straight like the original and the cord is a foot shorter so had to take a different route. Also would be nice if it came with the heat shield like the original. All in all it works. Need to research and find a heavy duty cord that is round not flat. Good luck.

This work for a Ford but, the Right angle of the connector makes it very difficult to get seated into the block warmer. Takes at least 3-4 minutes of fiddling before I can get the plug fully into the outlet. It works but, if I had to purchase again, I'd find a plug with a straight connector.

I purchased this for my Massey and White farm tractors. I believe each of the tractors had the block heaters installed at time of manufacture and not aftermarket. Massey 285, 1085, White 2-105 etc. This cord fit all of the tractors with a three pronged end in the engine block. It was a snug fit going on the first time but I am glad it did not go on easy the first time. I will leave it attached all winter and it will never fall off on its on. Lots of cord length to go from the engine block all the way to the tractor cab grab handle loops. Cord stays flexible in very cold weather. Quite happy with the product.

Bought this for a 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD LB7 Duramax diesel, and am pleased to say it is a perfect fit for the stock block heater plug on the front passenger side of the motor. The orange plug end is made of a flexible rubber, and presses onto the block heater receptacle, and seals the contacts from salt/water from the outside. You may have to lightly tap the orange plug end into the block heater receptacle with a small hammer/your palm to get it to seat properly, as the rubber expands to seal it as you push in. There is JUST enough cable to route to the grille/bumper on the front of the truck, with about 1'-1.5' of extra slack. Great bang for your buck. and works great on this engine/truck.

Quick shipping, it’s not an exact fit for my 2001 Duramax. I was able to use it but the original oem does not have a 90 so it is a bit of a pain to make it fit..
