This allows me to connect a light as well as my phone. The flexible arms have 1/4 inch holes and they give you an arm that screws into any of the holes and then you can attach a light or a microphone, very convenient. The only thing I don't like is the price, I paid $59. There are cheaper Z mounts, but they seem to have one less arm than this, this extends nicely and is actually on the heavy side, which is a good thing unless you are worried about the weight when traveling. I mounted this on my tripod with a quick release. Now I can shoot at many different angles and overhead shots more easily. I used this with my phone and also with a GoPro with mount adapter. I'm not sure how it would hold up for a heavier camera, but its perfect for a smaller lightweight camera.

I use this flexible plate for a lot of my lunar photography. The ability to get my camera in a certain position while on the tripod is a must in order to capture the shot I want.

Nothing to dislike about this although some might find having to use hex wrench to adjust stiffness of joints a problem. To avoid this protest it with different weights of camera equipment to set a stiffness that is easy to adjust and won’t sag under weight. Previous similar product which are cheaper I never bought because there was discrepancy between videos and photos indicating a less flexible unit. Having played with mine it is very satisfactory and will help immensely in future scanning and copying projects.

Hello! I just purchase this product, and I am testing it to see the functionality, so far the performance is good, I need to make adjustments for the head to hold my heavy camera but in the end works perfect! I recommend it since is more easy to adjust than other tripod heads.

Very good quality, adjustable, and sturdy. I purchased two for different tripods and very satisfied with them. I added a quick release to one that I use regularly so I don’t have to screw on the camera each time I use it. The level bubble is very useful and I didn’t think I would use/need it but handy to have to eliminate guesswork.
