Arrived on time, factory sealed. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I play mostly rock, blues, and jazz. Paired these with a Pearl Studio Select set. Amazing sound. Might pickup an A custom crash to mix it up and get more contrast between crashes.

I’m not really a drummer, but I splurged on these for my little home studio and have no regrets. I like them better than the k custom darks which I think sound a little too sparkly to me. I’m not really a fan of A customs either. I don’t know what they do to make them custom, but I don’t like it 😂 Maybe it’s just my ears that don’t like piercing high overtones. These regular old K cymbals have the warmest most pleasing tones to me. The hats have good chick and slush, the ride is versatile and has a pleasant ping and wash when you lay into it some. When I hit a crash it’s just satisfying and thick and has a great natural smooth decay 👍

Great cymbals. Only grip is that the hi-hat has to be setup a little tighter than I had with other cymbals for a good "chick" sound. The bells sound great. Have used them for different types of music including blues, funk, rock, big band swing. Also, I've had no physical issues with any of the cymbals.

Broke the cardinal rule. Never buy box sets. And never buy a cymbal without hearing them first hand. The hats where keepers. I ended up trading out the crashes and ride. The crashes where not what I thought. I expected thin dark cymbals. They sounded like they where medium A's. The ride had week ping on the bow and the Bell was to trashy. I traded the ride for a K medium ride and love it. I traded the crashes for Sabian HHX Evolution. Love them. The hats took a few sessions to break in. They sound great.I was looking for cymbals I could play in smaller gigs unmiked. I mostly play rock/pop stuff. 60' to today. If I play at a larger gig. I would mic the kit.I contacted Zyldjian and they never responded. They obviously don't care about customers forking out almost a grand at once and not being happy. I would have considered custom A's. As they are what I really was looking for in the end. But I really liked the Evo's.So don't do what I did. Go listen. Take a friend with a good ear. Your new cymbals are worth half for a trade in a big box stores.

Great cymbals. Will have for lifetime. Traditional dark K sound and wonderful ping on ride and great wash on crashes. Hats are crisp and heavy closed with nice tight chick on the foot.
