"Gold" matches my top brand brass chandelier and "brass" in photo appears to be an antique brass. Very satisfied with the gold finish. It is a metal composition with a nice weight not a spray painted gold cheap fixture. Ordered this to use as a night light over my daughters bed. The light can rotate backwards to not shine in her eyes for bed time and downward for reading. We use the warm light and decreased brightness on a timer to help her fall asleep. Installation was super easy. Has a French cleat type bracket with two screws and the fixture slips right over. While we just keep ours mostly plugged in using a c type charger out of convenience, the cleat system makes it very easy to remove from the wall to charge if prefered. Remote works as intended. I have other rechargable bulb systems in my house and none are as thought out as this one. Nice looking and incredibly practical for my use. If this thing became damaged or lost i would absolutely come back and get the same model.

I got this to provide lighting for a faux window I created for a long, dark hallway in my home. It does a pretty good job of mimicking sunlight when used behind drapes or curtains.Even aside from that, this is a pretty nifty little light. It came securely packed and arrived without damage of any kind. It's small but mighty as it can illuminate your picture or painting quite effectively without being a distraction. It comes with everything you need to securely install in a relatively short amount of time. The way the mounting plate meets with the body of the light provides a nicely tight and secure fit so you will have no worry that it will come loose.I like that it comes with a remote so you don't always have to reach up to turn it off and on. The ability to adjust the brightness as needed/wanted is also a great feature. I haven't yet tested how long it can go on one charge. I can say that I've had it for about 10 days now and I haven't had to recharge it using a couple of hours per day. While I do appreciate that the bulb/light setting is adjustable about 180 degrees forward to back, it would be nice if the brackets that hold the light would also be a bit adjustable. I'm not a designer or anything so I'm sure there's a reason for that--it would be a nice feature though if a safe way could be found to implement that.Overall, I think the functionality and design you get for the price point make this a great value. Not needing to constantly replace batteries is also a plus and make this even an even more economical choice.

The seller has done an excellent job of sourcing this high-quality 12-inch rechargeable battery-operated picture lamp. The quality of the casing, plating, welding and finishing of the gold model we bought complements others in our collection and is most attractive. My only suggestion for the supplier is to add a no cost option, a timer that like led candles turns the light on at a set time for a set period. This requires setting up for your specific use but like candles allows the light to operate daily as long as battery power is available. Otherwise having a high 90 plus CRI light output, and an easily adjustable by rotating the light tube makes this an excellent choice. The included remote control lets you adjust the amount of light output, Kelvin temperature and run time from 30minutes to 8 hours. Couldn't be happier!

I love so much about this light. It's lightweight and rechargeable, and you can change the brightness, color warmth, and set timers, all with the remote. All that is wonderful, and would've made this a 5 star product.However, I am short (5'3") and once it is mounted above a picture, it's too high for me to reach. I have to climb up on a stepstool to get it down to recharge. That's going to get annoying fast. It does recharge pretty quickly, so that's a plus, but every time I'll need to charge it, I'll be climbing up and down a stepstool to take it down, then to put it back up. This is workable, though not ideal, unless you do what I had originally planned. I was going to put it over a picture over my sofa. I'd be climbing all over my sofa, or moving the sofa every time I needed access. Not sure what the answer to this problem might be, but it's a huge drawback to me. If you're tall, this probably isn't a problem at all.

This wireless rechargeable picture light is easy to install with no wiring required, making it convenient to adjust or move when needed. The brightness and color temperature can be adjusted with the remote control, allowing for a suitable lighting effect.I use it to illuminate a painting in my living room, and the light is soft and evenly distributed, making the artwork stand out without being too harsh. This picture light is convenient because it is rechargeable and you don't need an outlet. The light is bright enough but not as bright as a traditional painting illuminator. The charge lasts for a good time. It Is probably best for smaller photos or paintings, Not larger ones.
