This is very sturdy. High quality and makes no noise. It's easy to put together. There's space underneath if you want to store stuff. Worth every penny. No wobbling. Solid.

I have bought several of the other brands which fold out over the past couple of years and they don't last, as they collapsed, every one of them. This model takes just a little more effort to put together but is still very easy to assemble and one person can do it in very little time. This is a very sturdy frame. I would definitely buy another one. My son is 6 foot and 185lbs.

I wanted a durable sturdy bed frame that was easy to move from room to room when guests visit . But I didn't want some flimsy system with no integrity. This one is super duper strong and has a lot of legs too. It folds up and is light enough to heft through doors or carry up to the attic when not in use. It folds flat so it can even go under another bed.Assembly was easy. Even easier if you have your own 4mm ball end Allen or a wratchet but easy enough with the simple tools provided. It's 8 easy to reach bolts and the placement is obvious.Grace notes on the construction are that the nuts are all stop nuts so they won't work loose. And the wing nuts that lock the legs have the bolt welded on and not spinning freely. The legs are recessed from the edges so your toes are safe and there's no sharp corners. It has some mattress retainer clips which appear to be an invaluable idea. I put mine on only three sides to make it easy to slide the mattress to access things stores underneath on the side towards the wall. The frame is mostly welded so stiffer and few bolts too. Of course welds have the potential to crack. For shipping or long term storage It would be simple to compact its folded size to smaller width by removing those eight bolts too. It's utilitarian in look not fancy wood but it doesn't look "cheap" it just doesn't add to the decor. However it makes up for this with having massive Free space underneath for putting boxes and it would be easy to put a duvet curtain to hide everything .Other reviews compare this to the zinus elite which I ejected because that's exactly the flimsy frame I was avoiding ( it only supports 250 pounds ! Which given the weight of the mattress would not support a good fraction of the population nor any activities.Love it!

I purchased this to replace a queen box spring that had outlived its use, and is too bulky and unwieldy for constant military moves. That being said, this item was a breeze to set up, not including unboxing time and moving the mattress, and only took about 10 minutes. The queen frame comes in two separate pieces which have legs that fold in, and then each piece folds in half. Not including the headboard brackets which I didn't use, the only hardware assembly performed by you requires 4 bolts, 4 nuts, 2 flat plates, 8 wingnuts (attached), and the included wrench and allen wrench. Take note from other reviewers that your mattress will indeed slide around a bit when you move it or get on and off, and even more so with a 16" bed skirt, so an anti-slip mat on top of the bare metal is a sound investment. There is no lip along the edges to hold the mattress in place. The frame is very sturdy and with much wider metal slats compared to other mattress frames I've seen with those skinny little wires that run the risk of popping off and tearing a mattress, and completely ruining the center support that it's supposed to provide. I have a Purple Hybrid Premier 3" mattress which weighs about 145lbs, plus myself at 5'0" and 140lbs, and have no issues to speak of yet with this frame, though I'll update this review if I do in the future.I also have an extra thick pillow top mattress which is 16" from top to bottom, and which I tried with the frame to see how high it would sit. If you have a mattress of that size, it will sit high enough for someone of 5' to have to make a little leap to get into bed, so a shorter frame is recommended. There is a good amount of storage underneath for smaller boxes/bins and other miscellaneous things, but it is not high enough to fit my 18gal Sterilite totes which are the same height as the frame. The instructions that it comes with however, are absolutely terrible with their tiny little print but easy enough to understand. For those who are complaining that they still have trouble, or aren't good at deciphering tiny pictures, follow below (after unboxing) with the images I included for visual reference:1. Unstack the frames and set side by side, pulling at the ends of each to open. You'll see a small square of metal protruding on either end of each piece, so make sure those point inward.2. Extend the legs and set flat.3. You'll see some screws with wingnuts attached in all four corners of each piece to hook the cross braces on. Extend the braces down over each screw and tighten down the wingnuts. If they don't want to hook, pull the legs out a little more.4. To attach the two halves together, take one of the two flat pieces of metal, two 1" bolts, and two of the small nuts. Hook the flat metal piece over the inside of the protruding pieces and thread through and tighten down the bolts. It's easiest if you just hold the nut on with the wrench and tighten with the allen wrench. Repeat for the other end of the frame. If you decide to use the headboard brackets, the image is large enough on the instructions to follow. It doesn't matter which end of the bed frame is facing the wall because there are holes on both ends to attach them.
