This was rough to replace as my pump is around 10 years old, but I was able to open it up and inside the electrical housing was perfect, so replacing the switch was actually very easy. Since this is only a fraction of the cost of a new pump I am so glad it worked!

I used the switch for a sump needed to change the end connections from the old pump same switch different ends works fine.

Used this in my effluent pump . I had the pump replaced about 7 years ago , to the tune of $ 900 , when the original wouldn't kick on . I couldn't see how the new pump would go bad since it only gets use when using washing machine . After finding some YouTube videos I decided to try a new switch . Problem solved . I also replaced the gasket/seal under the top cover . I had to find that at a different place .

Don't replace your pump, just the switch. I have been doing this for years on my sump pumps. Our pumps are constantly turning in on and off so the switches burn out within a year at most. Much cheaper to replace the switches than the pumps.
