Completely useless there's no lever to turn the thing it's stiff as a board. I recommend if you're going to get one find one with the lever on the side. And one that's in inches not centimeters

Packed very well. I was really excited about receiving this, has so many different sizes in one place. Looking forward to using this in drawing and quilting. However, I cannot even get it to open and close the circle. It is very frustrating and I would not recommend purchasing this. I thought it may be set very tight for shipping so I very slowly unscrewed the set screws just a tiny bit. The first thing I noticed was the blades were not centered. It does not work, very tight and not a round circle. Do not buy this unless you want to take it apart and make sure it moves smoothly. So disappointed.

Very cheaply made. Concept is great, product just does not work. It is VERY difficult to turn to adjust circle size! Even using two hands, the parts just don't move. It does not create a perfect circle. I should have read the reviews before purchasing, they are accurate.

This was a gift for my wife. Here is her input...After getting it back together, it works fine. Just be gentle. Having it apart is tedious, so I hope this helps: Have a towel under your work surface so the screws/ferrules don't roll away, then carefully unscrew the 2 on the back and set them aside. Flip over and remove the top. Notice how each blade is seated and overlapped (take a pic if you have to). After using machine oil on each "blade" and making sure the "center hole" of each blade was seated properly in each hole (may need to straighten, etc.). Align all the blades toward the center, overhanging the center opening, keeping them secure and overlapping properly. Then, using 2 pencils (or something pointed) gently and slowly push the blades back from the center to the edge as if you were to make the largest hole. Use the 2nd pencil to align the outside of the blades. Then STOP! (Note: the machine oil will hold it all together in the proper location.) Carefully align the top piece: The last few mm marks on the top piece should align with the white dot on the rim of the bottom piece - I know, I didn't see the mark at first either. Gently and slowly, make sure the grooves are seated properly by slightly rotating the top, but not too much! If you think it is seated, carefully turn it over and install the screws, tightly. The ferrules will prevent it from being too tight to turn. Then gently, using a flat screw driver (or whatever) slowly nudge from the screws, one side at a time, and begin to turn. The first few mm will be hard to get going, but keep trying. If the circle is even, you've done it correctly! Good for you! it took me 3 tries (disassemble/assemble). Finished! But it kept slipping in my hand as I GENTLY tried to turn it, so I added hot glue to the top grooves as grippers and it works just fine! But BE GENTLE or you'll be taking it apart again. I know someone suggested loosening the screws, but don't. Again, the ferrules on the screws allow the screws to be tightened so it stays together. I will say, the main bottom should have 4 slots, not 2. With 4, it will secure the top to the bottom better. The top has 4 places for screws, but the bottom only has 2. Also, if you try to turn it with your thumbs on each side you run the risk of the blades slipping and you'll be taking it apart again. Instead, lay it in your palm, and with your other palm on top, gently turn to the size you need. I did measure the sizes and they are accurate. I hope this helps to keep someone from pulling their hair out...

The mechanism was very stiff to use, and seemed only to move if I was using two hands. In other words, if I was resting it on paper, or my canvas, I couldn't change the circle size; the device was more likely to slide than turn. If I picked it up to change the circumference and put it down again, there was no way to ensure that the circles were concentric because everything had moved. The whole point of the device is to enable concentric circles. I noticed two screws on the back and wondered if the mechanism might slide more easily if I loosened them. Actually that was a bad move because the fins that created the circle then moved lopsided. I opened it up entirely to try to set the fins back in place, but I'm not savvy enough to know how to do that. Anyway, I had wrecked the whole thing within 10 minutes of opening the parcel. But I figured that was no real loss because it didn't 'work for purpose' as it came.

I like this circle maker. The tool is so wonderful.I watch many demo videos about acrylic painting styles. One of the ladies used this tool. I new it would be helpful to me.You are in control of the size of your circles in whatever increment you want.Because of the metal weight, it doesn't slip out of position.

When this arrived, upon opening the box, the screws that kept it together had come out. So it was lots of parts. Getting it back together took hours and hours. It seems like it would be simple enough, but it's not and it is maddening. Should it arrive for you fully assembled, it's definitely worth the money for it instead of paying $100 for a brand name professional one.

This would make a nice paperweight. And if you like the circle size it arrives as, great (personally, a coffee cup will do the trick). Here is the problem, there are 2 small screws on the back….you have to undo them about the same on both sides to even move the circle size…then you use your screwdriver, bit by bit on each side to slowly adjust the size….this might take 5 minutes to get to only 1cm smaller! Mine broke into a dozen pieces…..2 coffee cups did the job in a fraction of the time.I bought this to not have to raid my kitchen for ‘round things’…. But seriously, my kitchen saves me so much time vs this broken thing that did not make a single circle for me….just use cups, glasses etc…..this is a nice idea…but in reality, it just does not work!I have not returned it because I do not want to waste any more time on it….and a drive to a parcel point drop off place will take additional time. My time is already wasted….don’t add the the pain by wasting yours!
