I wouldn’t recommend this substrate. It came as advertised, but my leopard gecko’s mouth would get stuck on it when he tried to eat crickets off of it. He also is used to a loose substrate and got frustrated when he couldn’t dig a little bit like he’s used to doing when he finds a spot he likes. After a week, I had to switch him back to a safe loose substrate.

Nice looking carpet. Plus is it fits nicely has a nice color and washes somewhat easily. Drawbacks are that it does take a long time for this product to fully dry after washing. The calcium stains never come out again. It you release live prey for them to chase, the geckos do have a tendency to pull up bits of the carpet in the quest which is a huge drawback. For lizards that do not eat live prey and there are some, this would be a better product.

This product came in and was only 28 3/4" by 12 1/4". So it was wider than it was supposed to be and had to be trimmed and shorter than it should be so it does not cover full bottom of tank. Very upset because I got a tape measure out. Good quality if you don't mind it not fitting properly. Which I do mind and there is nothing I can do because it took so long for me to open it. Too late for return.

Absolutely amazing. It fits perfectly in my tank and it is easy to clean. The only real downside is it takes a little bit of time to straighten out but once it does it is amazing.

My little brother just got a leopard gecko and needed a lot of supplies, this way almost twice as much at the pet store. It came in great condition and is exactly what we needed, it is easy to clean and is true to size. Make sure you measure your tank so you can get the carpet that fits.

Before purchasing this, I was using reptile bark for my leopard gecko. I was always worried about him ingesting it and it would get stuck to his feet and tracked everywhere. This carpet is so much better. It's easy to cut to the correct size, I don't have to worry about it harming my gecko, the gecko seems to like it, it's SO easy to clean, and it looks nice. I ended up having enough to make two pieces that fit his tank so when it needs to be cleaned I don't have to rush. I just take out the dirty one, replace it with the clean one, then can clean and air dry whenever I have time.

Very good quality. I have a juvenile bearded dragon and am obviously worried about him accidentally gulping up things he isn't supposed to. There are no loose fibers or particles on this carpet. When you roll it out it might take a day or two to rest flat on the bottom of the tank, but once it settles it's great. Fit the dimensions of my 29 gallon perfectly.

These are a much calmer, more natural color than the picture online suggests. It looks great in my boys little home. I got two and they are really easy to clean, dry super fast, and fit my tank effortlessly. I am so glad I found these. I would highly recommend them! Amazon has provided me with great customer service when I needed it so even though I could have saved a few cents ordering them elsewhere I got them here.
