As expected. Easy to adjust that slight difference in magnification. Good for moon and terrestrial shots. Very good build quality but very basic upgrade from having to switch out lenses . Worth the money for my particular “likes” in the hobby

Firstly, considering the price i wasn't expecting much, boy was i right. I just wanted a cheaper zoom lens to throw on my spotting scope, optical quality didn't need to be super great... but... here's the down and dirty.-Really bad coma in all power levels.-Zoom/ rotate function is very stiff.-All parts will unthread while you're trying to change power settings. (I even tried using thread locker but there rotation of the zoom function is so stiff the thread lock eventually stopped working)- The machine work is actually first rate millingSo yeah great millwork and finish on the zoom body, horrible glass with horrible/ nonexistant coating. I would have been fine with the bad optical quality if the zoom actually worked, and it didn't continuously unthread.I threw mine in the garbage, not worth donating and frustrating some kid getting into astronomy. Not worth sending back to Amazon in case it gets repackaged and bought by someone else.Look for another budget option, this isn't it.
