I had to sand these to make them flat and even. They were so damaged with chips and warped beyond repair on a few pieces. I had to throw half out because I just couldn't fix them. And the ones I could salvage I had to sand down so they were flat.

Great multi-use tools when you want to avoid scratches from metal scrapers. Beveled edge stays sharp for a surprisingly long time, and price is reasonable. I just ordered my second set.

I bought these to patch divots in my concrete after pulling up nails from the previous carpeting laid on the base of our bi-level home. They worked ok and got the job done doing a job where I definitely didn’t want to use my good metal knives.

I rehab old houses. Use these for filling & smoothing (plaster, floor leveler, wood putty). Never liked the metal knives for finishing drywall/repairing plaster. These work great! These are a little less rigid that I'd like. Seems like the 4" was more flimsy than the other sizes. I've used lots of different brands over the years. These are as close as I can find to the old yellow knives I haven't seen in stores for years. The shape gives you a lot of area for compound on the knife blade.
