This is a great everyday dressage girth. I’m extremely pleased with the quality. Nice snug comfortable fit. Soft unlike leather. Super easy to keep clean.It runs short, I suggest going one size up than what you’d normally order. The length of your billets will determine.

The saddle fitter had a saddle for us this time around and highly recommended this girth to use with our Dresch. Sits right where it should and the stretchy ends make it super comfy. No complaints from pony or me.

Love this girth! I was a little concerned at first because the elastic didn’t seem very stretchy when I tried to pull it but I tried it on anyways and it had a great amount of stretch, it is very soft and I love the material, it’s less sweaty than the leather one I had on before and seems very comfortable for my horse, he has ridiculous high withers and very asymmetrical shoulders and a forward girth groove and this kept my saddle in the right place and he isn’t cinchy about it, I will probably order another to make sure he has a back up .

Nice girth. It’s nicer than the picture they have. I thought the billet keeper was going to be a patent leather/ plastic looking piece but it’s not, it’s soft neoprene. When I put it on my horse I thought it wasn’t going to be long enough but it stretches nicely and I think it’s going to work better for my horse than my straight girth. My horse has a strange shape and a bit of a pot belly. He’s a Rocky Mountain horse. No matter how hard I tried the straight goth poked him in the elbows.

This style of girth seems to be difficult to find but if you have a horse that is pot bellied, forward girth groove and narrow chested I recommend giving this girth a try.It is not the nicest feeling girth out there quality wise but for the style and price point it is worth a test run.There is elastic on both sides of the girth. My horse is a little touchy so it’s nice it has enough give that he can breath and my saddle can stay in place.I don’t do any hard training but pleasure work it seems to be holding up well.It can be a little confusing which side goes forward and which goes backwards. Would be nice if that was labeled some how, but it does keep the girth and the billets back where they belong so my saddle is not being pulled forward constantly.All in all, I think it is worth a try.

This girth was true to size and was exactly what I needed for my mare. She's got a forward girth groove and gets extremely wide right after her elbows. Other girths slide forward on her and cause rubs; this one stays in place. The gel is a nice touch too. This girth is entirely covered in fabric, which is comfortable but I can't see this holding up after a year of heavy use (only reason this has four stars is my doubts of durability). Would love to see it in a waffle type material like the Ovation Airform girth. Excellent for the price.

The girth looked great. The unfortunate issue is that the buckles are placed too close to the end of the girth. When you stretch the girth to appropriately hold the buckles are at the edge of the material of the girth. With natural movement of the horse it creates a pinch/sore spot. My horse was very sore the day after. Sadly it took me several rides to figure out the problem.

It is a nice girth however there is very little extra girth past the buckles. So while it fits just right behind the elbows (ie: is the correct size) it leaves a fair gap above that could have had protection from the billet straps.

I've been using this girth for a couple of months now and my horse loves it he's not girthy at all anymore, usually he's not keen on neoprene but the gel inside seems to really help. The curved shape is good for horses with a forward girth groove or big shoulders and the price is very reasonable. The elastic at both ends is quite soft for a girth so you must be careful not to over tighten it and as it's posted from America it takes a long time to be delivered but other than that it's excellent.
