This works as expected and is a great value for the price. I suggest folding the flaps of the box it comes in inward to create a cover. You can then use this as a protective cover for the dial gauge when in storage.Both gauges I ordered are accurate.I used this to add pressure gauges for two vintage Mirro pressure canners. I used a 3/8" drill bit to drill the hole in the lid. I did not use the 1/2" to 3/8" silicone gasket that was included as it does not fit in a 3/8" hole (only 1/2"). The included metal nut (alone, without a washer or gasket) was enough to prevent leaking when gauge was screwed all the way in and the nut tightened flush against the inside of the lid, as far as it would go, without stripping the threads on the bolt.While the canner uses a weighted gauge to maintain pressure, I like have this dial gauge to see A) when the pressure in the cooker has dropped to zero and can be safely opened B) see the pressure climbing so I know how long it will be before it gets to the desired pressure C) additional visual feedback about what is going on inside the pot to verify that it is maintaining the correct pressure. This makes the Mirro similar in functionality to the more expensive All American.I would recommend this gauge especially for the price.

not even close to accurate. gauge indicated 6psi when 15psi canner regulator was rocking, this is dangerous.

I currently have a Presto pressure canner and I think that this is going to be a good back up digital pressure gauge. I got this because I know that I have horrible water and I know that the lens of the pressure gauge is probably going to fog up to the point where I'm gonna have to replace it anyway. I got this as a back up and I am very happy with it and it looks like the installation of this will be very simple.

This was bought as a reserve for my pressure cooker, which is now very old. I haven't installed it but it's clearly well made and will serve its purpose when the time comes to put it in service. Glad this part is available and on the market for those of us who still do canning. Recommended

Getestet habe ich den Adapter von 1/2 auf 3/4. Die Optik in schwarz-matt sieht natürlich hervorragend aus, aber das wird nicht lange halten. Obwohl eloxiert zeichnen sich nach dem ersten Gebrauch schon Kampfspuren ab.Nichts desto trotz hat der Adapter bisher seinen Dienst gut verrichtet. Auch am Schlagschraube hat er gehalten, ohne Probleme zu verursachen. Die Nuss geht gut stramm drauf, ohne dass man Gefahr läuft, das diese herunterfällt, oder zB beim Arbeiten an schwierig erreichbaren Stellen, zB über Kopf, diese zu verlieren.

So I got this see the pressure going from a propane tank, to my generator I just converted. Does a good job. the regulator I bought is adjustable for 1 to 20 PSI so, this lets me play with the adjustment to make it run cleaner and leaner.

L' adattatore per avvitatore passa da 12 fino a 34 di pollice, in acciaio al cromo-molibdeno rende l'adattatore robusto e durevole . Grazie al design della sfera di bloccaggio offre la funzione anti-goccia. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
