no matter how much you tighten down the screw, the mounting plate still spins really easily. I would of like it more if the mounting plate was a bit more snug.

When I first got it setup I had to figure out how to tighten it because it just spun way too freely. I figured out all I have to do is tighten the bolt on the top until it was much harder to spin

Seems well made, reasonably robust. Should work for most fish finders or perhaps other electronics. Priced commensurate with quality.

Not much to this item, but it fits the mounts well and with a plethora of mounting holes it fit both models of fishfinder bases I have. As expected.
