Has a slick outer coating which cuts down on wear. Very durable! My last belt of this same type was so tenacious, even though the outer jacket had cracked and gave way, it was still holding on by the elastic. The belt just wouldn't give up! Compare this to a cheap belt I had which broke after just 8+ hours of use and you get the picture!

Belt did not last a month or so. The original belt that came with the mower lasted over 2 years I just ordered a $46 version. Fingers crossed it works better than this one!!!

This belt is advertised as a replacement for The belts shown in the description. It is in fact the same length and a similar profile. It is nothing more than a conventual V belt that is not meant to be bent backwards as the correct Kevlar belt does as it goes through the pulleys on the mower deck. This belt will work for a short period before it self destructs due to it being bent backwards.
