5 star purchase!!! Needed to extend the threads on a suspension fork for my motorized bicycle. Worked like a charm and cleaned up the factory threads too. Much cheaper option than the park tool equivalent. Make sure to use lots of oil! 1/4 turn at a time, back it off oil it up and send it for another 1/4 turn. Repeat until desired length is achieved. And remember...lots or oil!

Bought this to chase threads on chromed 1" bicycle forks. Some chromed forks, old and new won't allow the headset to be installed because the chrome interferes with the threads. Also works for old, non-chromed forks with slightly messed up threads. After removing some chrome with muriatic acid, chasing went very smoothly and the headsets installed easy-peasy. Have not tried using this for creating new threads.

Rethreaded steering tube from Raleigh thread to 24TPI, would've been easier if the die had been split- made a good job regardless- needs a big die holder - used Part No: ASIN B09RP6GPW5, also from Amazon

I got this to rethread a shortened BMX bicycle fork. It worked well for that purpose.

Purchased for standard 1” bicycle forks. Both for chasing and cutting new threads. Fits the 2” handle perfectly after a bit of massaging (handle side powder coat is a bit thick, needs to be sanded/Dremel 1/64th or so. Once set up, it cuts the threads deep and clean, as it should. Don’t know about longevity, but for my occasional use it should be fine for many years. Great value considering cost of Park or comparable Die (and handles).

I purchased this, based off reading other reviews that said it worked on American threaded bicycle fork stem threads. This did not work on any of the Schwinn bicycle forks I tried, dating from 1939 up to 1973. I tried 5 different forks, 3 without damaged threads, and it would not thread on. Very disappointed.

Works well enough but the resulting thread is a little rough. For 1/4 the price of a good quality die this saved the job.

An expensive fix, yes, but a lifesaver. Working on a vintage bike worth thousands only to find the powder coater clamped a piece on the threads an tore them up. A bike shop tried their tool but it simply did not clean up the threads well enough. I read somewhere that this die cuts a little deeper than the original so I have it a chance. Wow! Am I glad I did! Cut new threads top to bottom and now with nothing more than fingers the nut (actually a bearing race) turns from top to bottom with a any hesitation at all. Tool looks sharp and read to go for more.

At first I didn't think this was going to work for 1" bicycle forks as it cuts slightly deeper but it seems to be just fine. So far I've extended the threads on a couple of steer tubes on older forks that I wanted to re-use on smaller frames. I got a $30 die-holder handle and this tool works nearly as well as the super-expensive Park Tool die. It doesn't have the second alignment die so starting a cut might be really hard to keep straight. But it works very well cleaning up existing threads and extending them if needed.
