This concentrated salt remover is great for several applications. After beach trips I like to quickly wash down the chairs and fishing gear with a dilute mix and let it sit while I rinse down the truck with same. Then come back to the beach gear and rinse it all off so there's no residue remaining while it dries. Then back to the vehicle again for final rinse, paying attention to the undersides. This goes a long way in protecting against corrosion over the long haul. I mix a stronger solution for spraying down baitcast reels to let it soak in & break down any salt clinging under layers and in crevices so that I don't have to dunk the whole reel. This prolongs life of the line, keeps inner components dry and also extends time between reel overhauls. For spinning reels, I remove the whole spool and saturate with Salt Remover before rinsing. I like that this is available in concentrate so that I can adjust ratio for the job. This is also priced lower than Salt-Away (which is excellent but not cheap at all). Easy to use and gets the job done for less.

The roads are salted in the Northeast after winter storms, which makes its way to our vehicles and causes corrosion. Salt and brine tends to accumulate on the undercarridge, and the reaction with metal will eventually rot out the frame. This salt remover helps to prevent this it. I use it with a garden sprayer attached to my hose. I jack up one side of the car to get full coverage of the spray, then do the same on the other side before rinsing it off.As a concentrated formula, this is comparatively cost effective to similar products. I appreciate that it is made in the USA and biodegradable. There are other uses as the product description suggest, but worthwhile for me just for this one application.

I don't have a boat, but I have REALLY hard water in my house and it causes salt buildup in the sinks and tub. I got this and filled the sink with water, and put some of this in there leaving it to soak. After doing that, rinsing it out was pretty easy with some light scrubbing. Took me two goes at it, but the sink is now clean! Happy with the outcome of this for my purposes. I have not used it as a spray, so unsure how well it works outside soaking things.

This product does a great job and sprays good in a pump sprayer. Not a pure cleaner but it removes the salt as intended. Can however mix with a good soap for optimum results for cleaning. Its a salt neutralized and not a car soap but does clean off salt when sprayed off.

Im an avid boater / scuba diver and I also happen to live in the rust belt so this product comes in clutch when it comes to washing off the salt wether it be the outboard, the boat trailer or my truck I've been using it and only time will tell about the results but if it does what it claims I will definitely be buying more and keeping in stock at my shop.

This ultra concentrated salt remover is absolutely amazing as i am using it once a week to remove all the salt deposits on my car since we live in a coastal town.It is biodegradable and provides the ultimate corrosion protection.It is also good for any marine equipment such gears,boats&trailers,boat engine flush as it is so easy to use by diluting a small amount with water and spray on the surface,then by cleaning with a scrub brush and finally by rinsing it with a clean and fresh water for its effectiveness.This solution easily dissolves and preserves my car in shielding the surface from damaging effects of salt exposure.

Being an avid salt water fisherman I needed something more than water to rise off my gear. Used one time so far on my trolling boat motor and it washed off all residue 1st wash. I used this on my rods and gear bag and wish I invested in this product a long time ago as it worked wonders on the little bit of build up I had existing on my equipment. We will be traveling to areas where salt is used on the roads and will be applying to my wife's car and tires for added protection in hopes it protects the way product says. I'm pretty confident as it cleaned the built up salt on my fishing and motor gear.A little goes a long way and confident we will get many uses from this gallon. Definitely recommend to protect your investments and keep them looking new.
