About this item

  • Nylon webbing with a thickness of 0.06(1.5mm) inch. 1 inch, 1 1/2 inch wide webbing by 10 yards.
  • Unlike ordinary thin webbing, our webbing is tightly woven and thickened, measures 0.06 in (1.5 mm) thick which makes it has a higher level of tensile break strength.
  • It's soft, smooth, and super strong, resists fading and will not color-bleed which is an excellent material for long-lasting outdoor use.
  • Combine with metal or plastic hardware and your own sewing capabilities to create custom straps. Strong and flexible, it is popular for pet items like collars & leashes, as well as for heavy duty strapping applications such as cargo tie-downs.
  • Cut the length you need to meet your various needs. Can be easily sewn onto hardware such as buckles, slides, cams, or ratchets to create DIY straps. Use this Nylon webbing strap to build your own dog leash, create a belt with D-rings, replace strap for bags, luggage, purses, backpacks, or repair outdoor furniture..

Our heavy duty nylon webbing is tightly woven and thickened which measures 0.06 in (1.5 mm) thick.

I love the webbing from this supplier. This is probably 5th or 6th (all different colors). They are a perfect weight for my bike bag projects (feed bags, front bags, and even a bike bag for flights). The ends can be tidied up by melting and great with sewing.

I’ve bought webbing that is listed as nylon from other sellers on Amazon & it ends up being polypropylene. You may not care but there are important differences. The other nylon you find on here is very thick & not suitable for webbing hardware. This stuff is very similar to mil Spec 17377 type nylon that is used for backpack straps. I just got it today so I can’t comment on longevity but it feels like good quality. I sew with a variety of webbing routinely so I’ve seen a wide range in quality. I only buy on Amazon as a last resort/rush but this time I think I got good stuff. I got the 1.5” & it’s a hair wider than 1.5 but still fits in hardware meant for 1.5” webbing. It’s about 0.04” thick. This is not thick or scuba type nylon webbing so don’t expect that. Thin does not mean low quality though, if you need 0.04” then this is it.

It has a tight weave but is very thin. Its advertised as military grade, but appears very flimsy.
