This bit does a great job and cuts a nice hole. Used it twice to cut a hole through my 8" thick basement wall. Cut both holes I needed with no problems. After use the heads of the bits are still in great shape. Seems to be made from quality steel. Did the job I needed and is ready for more.

Great value for a drill this size. I used it to bore under a sidewalk to run a water line and it went through gravel and caliche with ease. a third the price of other similar bits from major manufacturers.

Chews through concrete well and works great.

Drilled 16 25/32" holes 5" deep in concrete with a Milwaukee cordless rotary hammer. No problem at all. Drill bit is still in great condition and ready for more hole drilling. Could only do 4 holes before the 5mah battery on my rotary hammer needed charged. No fault of the drill bit. Took about two minutes per hole with my setup. A better rotary hammer would probably drill faster.

This drill bit has not been tested by me yet. Unfortunately, my drill with the 1/2" chuck burned out and it is too big for the 3/8" drill. Once I have replaced my drill, I will update this review. It has the look and feel to do concrete and brick drilling.

Solid steel, and with SDS Max, I'm pretty sure no concrete can stand up to this thing!

FIRST, be advised SDS PLUS bits have a 10mm shank, the newer SDS TOP have a 14mm shank, and SDS MAX bits, such as this one, have an 18mm shank.Add to the above, collets that hold SDS bits, unlike collets for standard drills, are not adjustable. They can only hold the SDS bit for which they were designed. You can buy adapters that will let you run SDS PLUS bits on an SDS MAX impact drill, or that will let you run SDS MAX bits on an SDS PLUS impact drill. However, an SDS MAX BIT could overwork a SDS PLUS drill, and a SDS MAX could overwork a SDS PLUS bit.If you are familiar with wood router bits, you might think of the SDS MAX bits as being the equivalent of a 1/2" shank router bit, and the PLUS bits the 1/4" version. The larger bit shanks and the tools that use them are built to deal with more demanding jobs. This bit makes quick work of drilling through concrete and rock. Part of that credit goes to that it’s used on heavier duty SDS MAX drill.Keep in mind, just as with rock or granite and concrete cutting saws that use diamonds to cut, these carbide tipped bits, also, benefit from cooling during drilling. A cooler bit stays sharp longer and wears longer.I’ve drilled quite a few holes in concrete walls with my other bits. For that, cooling was impractical, for those uses. On the other hand, far more of my drilling has been in rocks resting on the ground and other horizontal surfaces. For those drilling operations, it was easy to dribble a little cooling water into the hole, both to clear the hole of powder and to cool the bit. It made a notable difference in both the performance and the life of the bit. These can be sharpened a few times too, but, again, try to keep the tip cool, to avoid damage. With cooling, this bit was able to handle the few rocks it took to make one of the stacks seen in the photo. When the project was done, it appeared the bit could take on more, though sharpening appears to be in order. At the price point, this bit should be a fine choice for home owners having a small project or two.
