This is easily a 5 star topiary! The pot is not overly heavy and it looks like it is filled with attractive small black gravel but it is all sealed, scrub-able it you wanted. it is so realistic and very dense. I am VERY happy with it. 2 parts, the top slides over a square spike in the base, it is seamless when fluffed. I think the price point is very good. I paid much more previously - both good quality. I will be putting mine in a large decorative pot. My trick is to put an upside-down bucket in my large pot; then putting this topiary on top of that. I back fill with gravel so nothing tips over or moves - looks very realistic! PS No smell during unboxing! I'll have it in my sunroom until spring hits so this is especially nice!

The tree is plastic and I found it wasn’t the easiest to fluff. I sat it outside hoping the heat would help but it didn’t. It looks like a tree, a skinny tree. It’s smaller than I expected but works great on my front step. I wanted it to be a shield for my packages. It does the trick for small items. It’s very lightweight. Maybe if I put it in a bigger pot it won’t look so small. I like it though and will continue to try and make it look fuller. Perfect for a small front step or just use it for Christmas decor inside or out. I’m not sure if it looks realistic, it kind of does but because of its size it kind of doesn’t. The quality is great as I’m not sure this could break or the branches break because of the quality of plastic that is used. I give it 5 stars!

I have a growing collection of indoor and outdoor faux trees. This one was specifically ordered to hide a rather unsightly damaged spot on the vinyl siding. It arrived in 2 pieces, top and bottom of the tree and it splits right in the middle. Don’t grab it from the top or it will come out. Overall, it looks fairly realistic except the leaves and branches are a bit shiny. Fluffing takes some patience. If there is any metal inside the stems, they’re undetectable. Adjusting the pieces doesn’t hold in place well and just takes repeated over manipulation until it finally fluffs to the desired amount. It isn’t as fluffy as the listing suggests, but it may be that I just don’t have the patience to get it fluffed to that fullness level. This was ordered in a 4ft for $50 at the time of my review. For the quality, this is a great price. Definitely recommend.

Faux plants can be it or miss sometimes. Once you start getting into this price point, you generally get something of higher quality and realism. This product is absolutely no exception. The photos speak for themselves. At $49.98 (the current price at the time of this review), this is a GREAT value for the price with exceptional quality and surprising realism. I don’t know about durability yet, as we just received it, but if it can stand up to the bipolar weather where we live, then it’s an all-around home run. According to the product description, “They are odorless and feature anti-fading, anti-aging, and UV protection. With their textured and realistic appearance, these fake potted plant trees will enhance your decor for 3-5 years.” We do have other faux plants outside with similar claims and, I will tell you, they have held up tremendously.I would highly recommend picking one or more of these up for your outdoor (or indoor) décor – the quality and realism alone makes them worth it!

This is a decent faux tree. It is relatively "realistic" looking when fluffed out, and is a decent size, with no "bare" patches that I could really see. The leaves/stems seem to be pretty durable as well - I only lost a few tiny bits when I was adjusting things. The downside is that the top portion of this cypress (maybe the final 1/3 of the tree) does not fit into the rest of the trunk/base securely, and falls off easily. I had originally intended to have this indoors, but due to the safety concerns of the tree top falling on my young kiddos, it's been relegated to the backyard. Not sure how it will hold up in the elements (especially wind!), but it at least looks like another green thing growing back there!

I recently received this "1 Pack 4ft Artificial Cedar Topiary Trees 48 in UV Rated Potted Fake Cypress Trees Fake Cypress Pine Tree Heavy Duty Fake Plants Tree Artificial Shrubs Outdoor Indoor Decor" and as long as you don't get too close, it looks like a living tree.As with most artificial shrubs I've had a chance to try, this little tree will make a pretty convincing replica if you are patient and commit to the time it takes to shape the branches. The time required to 'fluff' one of these is no joke, but it's well worth the effort to have a no-maintenance shrubbery that needs no follow up. That being said, be very careful with the amount of pressure you apply trying to bend the branches back as the individual branches are inserted into pre-drilled holes and if they come out... well, there's really no effective way to put them back. That's the one negative with this particular tree that I feel is necessary to point out since any damage that occurs to this tree after being planted will pretty much be permanent.Priced at $49.98, I'm not dissatisfied with this artificial topiary and am happy to have it gracing the fairly barren side of my house. It's a quality item, but be careful with the branches since they're kind of unforgiving if you manage to pull one loose or break it.

This is my 5th faux cedar tree for outdoor use. They look fine once that are all 'fluffed out'; not yet done in the photo. I will weigh them down with cement chunks in hopes that our very strong don't rip them apart. The branches are stuck in a hole on the 'trunk' but can come out; I took E6000 and glued that branch back in. The tall shot shows the thin top piece now attached to the slightly wider lower piece. The 3rd photo is of the 3', 4', and 5' trees. Shipped in an overpack as 2 pieces. No damage in shipping as the tree is secured to the inside box. I'll try to remember to post the finished install in the spring.
