Two screws broke off in the box I was attaching this to. The hook was also bent on arrival. Pretty cheap material

good value for the price. the matching screws are strong enough to be threaded into hardwood, with a pilot hole of course.

Very disappointed, the metal is extremely thin and fragile. The polish of the metal is a poor example of brass. It may appear solid, but it's really not. But is does look good from a distance.

I replaced the clasp and hinges for a project I was working on with these and tbh, it's the perfect accent against the midnight gradient I used on the box itself. Sturdy as well. Definitely recommend this product
