This gets two stars because it's easy to clean, otherwise it's pretty useless. It works okay for a tea that has very large leaves, but anything small just comes right through the oversized holes. Might as well just dump the tea in loose.

Make sure that you don't fill it completely for the tea leaves to expand. Would recommend filling it half way. The product is built well and works well. Would highly recommend this product for the price.

There are a lot of products made to make a cup of tea using loose tea, but this one is the best I've found. This item is well made and simple to use. It's also only 1 piece. The spring handle opens the tea holder when squeezed, allowing you to place it in a bag or container holding your tea and get the proper amount. Release pressure and it closes tightly. Simple! Put it in your cup of hot water and let it steep. To clean, just squeeze and empty. It's also dishwasher safe. A good product at a very good price.
