under the heading of you get what you pay for.....These needle holders bind as the scissor portion begins to come together. The tips are not polished clean so the jaws do not come together even on the 3rd click of the handles. Look elsewhere for something better built

Terrible product, it requires too much force to open, the seller was informed and he did not offer the guarantee, he limited himself to saying that the ones he had in his possession worked correctly and he responded evasively.

The weight of these is nice and the jaws can be made to take a nice bite if your dexterity is good with spring instruments... But the burred surfaces of the cutting portion make this particular instrument useless for me. If it’s blades were smooth, I’d have kept it for the price. But I do need it to cut sutures... I’d like a replacement. It’s definitely a second... perhaps the blades could be ground to a smooth cutting surface, but by the time I spend $30 on instrument Repairs, I might as well buy Jorvet or Jurgensen... I’m returning these for a replacement & will ammend my review once I get my replacement!!
