Last year with my chicks I had to multiple times a day clean out pine shavings from their water container. As they got bigger they would jump to the top of it knocking it over. This year I decided to try this and it’s the best money I’ve ever spent! Not one time have they gotten any pine shavings in their water. It hasn’t been tipped over either. It comes with a chain to be able to lower and raise it depending on the size of the chicks. If you get baby chicks this is a must have product!

if you have baby chicks, you should definitely buy this and hang their waterer. This helps keep them from scratching up bedding into the water, making it dirty and in need of more cleaning. you can suspend it higher as they grow. I bought a wall mounted planter hanger to suspend this from. great product, great price, 10/10 would recommend.

We are using the harness to hang freshwater and feed for a young chicken that is being introduced to a small flock. This is perfect to hang up high as we have also made a high perch for this new chicken. We only bought the harness because we had the bottles already. We received the S hook with the harness and small chain. Which are perfect, and in a very strong rainstorm with high winds it stood up to the test. The bottle fits tight inside the harness and the instructions were easy to understand as they have arrows and a physical picture that is colored showing you how. This small family business will definitely get my business again and I will be telling all of my friends and family because there are many other animals that could be using this besides chickens. Thank you for this incredible Harness to hang food and water for our animals. A northern MI peninsula homesteader.

I could not be happier! I was hoping it would fit a Ball quart jar & it does. I strongly prefer hanging my chicks water and this gives me so many more options. For one broody, who has camped out in a wire dog cage, this was perfect. I’m ordering another pair tonight as they need water everywhere in this heat. I have 2 other mommas who have 10 chicks so we need lots of waterers. Now I can not worry the waterer will get filled up with dirt as it can hang from a shade tree!!! Thanks for the invention!

I found the straps to fit my bottles perfectly with no adjustments necessary. Great for keeping debris of any kind out of the food and water and less likely (so far they are too small to manage) for Chicks to sit on them while eating or drinking.If there was any minor negative it would be the S hooks slip in and out of the chain almost too easily. All I have to do is take the time to find some pliers and crimp the S hooks just slightly to keep them from slipping the chain.

I ordered the 2 pack I use one for feed one for water. They are made well, great price. Especially compared to others out there. And small business owned is a huge factor. Keeps my chickens feed from going all over the ground and attracting mice/rats/predators. And the water stays clean as well! Read the description if you use plastic or glass jars.

The straps are easy to apply and you do not have to remove them, while filling your containers with water or feed, and they're easy to clean. Its a good product at a reasonable price, considering the cost of others.I'm happy that they help to prevent debris from entering the feeder and waterer; more so, the waterer.I purchased them because my baby Jersey Giant chicks, seemed to enjoy making me have to clean their waterer numerous times daily.It was interesting watching them investigate their now hanging waterer & feeder. There is not a chance that they will drown in the waterer. This product is a must have.

Where has this been my whole chick rearing life!!! Every morning I would go outside to let the chicks out and their inside water and food would be spilled and mixed and just plain smelly. It was so frustrating to keep them from tipping it over. I've tried blocks of wood and even made my own little shelf in the wall but nothing ever worked. So while searching for a medium sized feed and water container I came across this wonderful invention. It was super easy to insall and we're going on day 3 and it's absolutely wonderful. No more cleaning the coop every single day. I just refill and I'm good to go for the day. Definitely worth the price.
