This is not pure Aluminum - it has these awful posts of some sort running right down the middle - see the pictures. These absolutely ruined my brand new bandsaw blade - first time using the blade and it snapped in half. It also shredded a brand new cutoff wheel that I use as a backup on my angle grinder. I'm furious that this wasn't disclosed by whomever listed this and mislabeled it.

I use this as a heat sink for welding very thin sheet metal and it does a pretty good job. Definitely real aluminum
