I recently installed DOAUTO's 14 Gauge 100FT Marine Grade Wire Tinned Copper Duplex Spool Safety Boat Speaker Cable in my boat's electrical wiring. After just a few days of usage, I'm already impressed by its performance and durability. The flat duplex design makes it easy to work with and the color-coded insulation ensures clear identification of wires. The cable's flexibility and resistance to corrosion are evident even in my marine environment. I've noticed no signs of damage or wear despite being exposed to saltwater and sunlight. The PVC insulation seems to effectively protect against electrolysis and other potential issues in harsh marine conditions. I'm not sure why this DOAUTO Marine Grade Wire Tinned Copper 14 Gauge Duplex 100FT Spool Safety Boat Speaker Wire is promoted as "speaker wire" because the spool that I received is certainly more than that. The cable I received is clearly embossed Marine Cable 14AWG/2 600 Volts 105C DRY 75C WET BC-5W2 Oil Resistant VW-1 SEAJ1128. These ratings make it appropriate for marine applications up to 600 Volts. I notice that the Amazon sales site shows cable without these markings, so I'm not sure you're guaranteed the same cable I received.At any rate, this is a high quality, flexible, medium strand, tinned copper cable that is perfect for marine, RV, and other vehicle applications. It is not a listed cable, nor is it building wiring, so it would not be appropriate for wiring within structures or in other applications requiring listed cable.It's really not cheap, but well worth the investment, especially for salt water environments.

I needed to run wires under my truck for additional lights. With the salt used on the roads in the North, I wanted the best wire possible. The Doauto wire is rated for marine applications. The 2 copper tinned 14 Guage wires are protected by a protective outer shell. (tinned copper provides extra corrosion protection)It looks similar to 120v flat cable used for outdoor applications. (Difference.. 120v are solid wires with a ground).It is easy to bend and stiff enough to feed through tight passages.The 100-foot spool comes in a choice of 2 color wire combinations.If you are like me and want to go with the best available wire for harsh applications, this will do the job.

Will work good for re-wiring my neighbors boat - "fishing" 1 wire set will be a lot better than "fishing" 4 separate wires -

Between wiring, my boat and tractor with new components, I am sure I’ll get plenty of good use out of this 100 foot roll of 14 two marine grade wire. I like that it is tinned which means it will hold up well and provide a great connection to my components. It’s becoming increasingly harder to find good 12 V electrical wire these days and so I’m glad I found this pool. Wired 12 V components, I can immediately tell that this is superior quality wire and have no problem giving it five stars and recommending it!
