Being a former 12v professional installer, I do not skimp on wire, you get what you pay for and when installing on a boat exposed to saltwater, it’s even more important.Excellent quality wire I recently used to install my Garmin trolling motor on my center console. The wire is very well insulated, pliable, flexible, and is also tinned for corrosion resistance. Would highly recommend this write for marine use.

I liked how well the wire worked for running the power lines for my Garmin 106SV fish finder and Livescope.

I used this as a power feed for tank heaters on my trailer. The wire is nicely flexible so it was easy to route. Both layers of insulation are thick so there shouldn't be any issues with chaffing. Overall quality is on par with other brands if tried in the same price point.

Good cables jacketed inside very stiff outer insulation...The outer insulation makes this cable stiff , almost like Romex cable.I was hoping for a little more flexibility, but overall, good quality wires...If you're looking for good quality 12ga stranded wire in a Romex type jacket, this is a good choice...

I ordered 10 feet of this 8-gauge AWG marine grade wire to use for wiring a trolling motor in my fishing boat. The motor is a 24-volt, 40 pound thrust motor that draws 42 amps and uses a 50-amp fuse. This 8-gauge wire works perfectly since the maximum current capacity of 8-gauge wire is 55 amps. The sheathing of the wire is thick but flexible, it will last a long time. It is a lot easier to work with than the stiff solid wire found in residential electrical wiring. When I measured the dimensions of the wire, I was very impressed. The diameter of the 8-gauge stranded wire measured out at 0.156 inches, with the specification for stranded 8-gauge wire at 0.152 inches. The description states that the wire is 10 feet long, I measured the wire length at 10 feet 2 inches. Since more length of wire is provided than advertised and the wire diameter is above the nominal specification, this wire exceeds requirements and is a great value.I am very happy with this 8-gauge marine wire.
