I purchased this product in January 2024 by August 2024 it stopped working, it works great but because I did not purchase the warranty I'm out $250

You can spend a lot of money on pool lights. I did quie a bit of research and landed on two different lights to try; this one and another for about $30 more. The more expensive (although still very cheap) was 60w vs. this one at 35w. When I put them to the test, this one was just as bright as the more expensive one. Since I need to run three, I stuck with the 35w and I am happy with the decision.A few thing to note, however:1. the posting says you can hook up 3 light to one transformer, that is not correct. If you hook up 3 you will max out the transformer and it will flicker and not operate properly. I was able to hook up 2 to one and one to the second transformer. After some tinkerig I was able to sync the two transformers up so they operated in tandem.2. The "adjustable hook" does not really work if you have the Pentair niches like I do. It simply doesn't extend out enough to catch that lip in the niche. Trust me, I tried for a LONG time. I decided to position it over the niche and tighten the screwit tight. Seems to hold. We will see if it works for the long-term or not.3. The instructions are not very good. I've seen more detailed instructions on a broom. They give you two solder sleeves and a heat-shrink but don't tell you what the are to be used on. I assume the input 120v since that would pose the most electrical risk. However, there are 3 lines there, so a third connector would be useful.All-in-all I am happy (so far) with the purchase. Time will tell how good they are since they were just installed.

The install was straightforward and the pool light looks nice, but the app leaves a lot to be desired. First issue is that the device rarely shows up in my list of Bluetooth devices. I have to turn the power off on the controller multiple times before it shows up, and even then, sometimes it won’t. Second, there is an English setting in the app, but even then the app has elements of Chinese writing throughout. It’s very frustrating.

The Pool Lights Work nicely with the controler but the reason i got it was for the Bluetooth app, which is no were to be found nor are the instruccions or the online oficiall website. Please contact me so i can get the propper information that i need for it to Work.

I agree with the two prior reviews; no instructions & no paperwork. But, with a little effort I found instructions online and how to install it on YouTube. It is a pretty straight forward installation and the control box is pretty easy to figure out. My only complaint is not being able to set the control box to link to the bluetooth app on my phone. To the products defense, however, I don't always have the best of luck with apps. The light itself is great. Several colors and setting to choose from. I wanted bright vibrant colors and got it. And, if it's too bright for you, you can adjust it. I swapped my 35 year old American Products housing (Part No. CN-5) for his light. It was easy plug and play. I used the same set screw from my old set up to secure this light. Search the internet, look at YouTube and buy this light without worry. You won't regret it.ADDITIONAL... After seven months this LED pool light is still working as designed. It is an outstanding pool light. I was so pleased with it that when my spa's light burnt out last week I replaced it with another Pomeade SS1050X LED Light. They have added a very comprehensive installation and owner's manual and a plastic faceplate cover. Nicely done. One of the other reviews slammed the seller because the lights decorative ring rusted out in a month. No way that the ring rusted out. In all likelihood the buyer installed the ring with a screw that wasn't brass or stainless steal and the screw rusted and bled down on the ring. I witnessed this firsthand.

I bought this LED light on Sunday 7-23-23 to replace my Hayward Halogen Pool Light that burned out. The light manufacturer advertise a warranty but when the product came in the mail, it came with no instructions or warranty information. No instructions on how to use it or install it or who to contact to initiate the warranty if there was a problem. $250.00 is too much to pay to take a chance with no warranty information. I was hoping Amazon had the necessary information on their website but all Amazon had was a link but when you click the link, it says contact the manufacturer website for warranty details. The problem is the manufacturer doesn't have a website that I could find anywhere and there was no way to contact the manufacturer. I just returned the light to Amazon and purchased another pool light from a different manufacturer. Sorry I could not tell you if the product worked or not because no clear warranty was a show stopper for me.
