If you're not familiar with carbide burrs, for DIY metal working they're the best thing ever. It's amazing what you can fabricate with an angle grinder, welder and set of these - they cut ferrous metals like swiss cheese!I have full sized air and electric die grinders that take carbide burrs with 1/4" shanks, but I picked up a Dremel-type tool a little while back and wanted the same capability for it. The Dremel tools use bits with smaller 1/8" shanks for more delicate work - the burrs in this set are quite tiny for precise grinding on all sorts of materials.You get a sturdy little storage case with these bits, all for a little more than a dollar apiece. I think this is a great value. The burrs are sharp and are just like mini versions of my regular ones. The profiles on these are a little simpler, mostly just straight and conical, no ovals, rounds or flames come with this set. The tips on the conical burrs come to needle points for some very fine grinding work.I don't see how you can go wrong with this set. If you need to use a Dremel tool for fine grinding or shaping in almost any material, these are what you need.

These CATITO carbide burrs/bits are excellent for many material types including various metals but I have been using them mostly for plastic, wood, and softer materials. As a miniature builder and modeler, the wide variety of tips has satisfied many of my cutting/shaping needs.The bits spin true and straight at all RPMs I have tested and appear to be very durable and quite comparable to bits produced by Dremel, Ryobi, and other mainstream manufactures. The bit machining is also excellent as grove spacing and shape are consistent/uniform and the shafts highly polished. I found the cutting grooves to be engineered very well allowing for aggressive grinding when needed but also precision polishing and engraving when required. As compared to diamond coated bits, the carbide grooved designs reduce material build-up and I expect will typically run cooler.The bits also come with a durable storage case and for the price point these 10 bits are a great value. If you need to use a motor tool or small drill for fine grinding or shaping in almost any material, these CATITO tips will definitely satisfy many of your grinding, cutting, and shaping needs. And remember to always wear eye protection when using low and high speed grinding bits. Highly recommended!

This set provides incredible value, featuring high-quality bits neatly organized in a convenient case. I utilize them with a small Cordless Drexel tool, and they surpass any other tools I've tried for finishing 3D prints. The bits cut smoothly and cleanly on both ABS and PLA materials. Considering their effectiveness, I am inclined to purchase a second set, although I anticipate the longevity of the current set given its durable performance in cutting plastic. Undoubtedly, this set offers fantastic value for its utility, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
