Bought because it was advertised as stainless steel, in the heading, in the technical specs, in the product description. Is not actually stainless steel, is non magnetic and I can bend it with my bare hands so presumably aluminum. Probably shouldn't bend it with your bare hands though, there are some serious burs on the edges. Don't spend your money on this if you need something sturdy or magnetic.

These work great for splicing and making brackets. Would be five stars but the edges need to be deburred. They are quite sharp and will easily cut your hands.

Plates are as described dimensionally but finished (white) side is seriously scratched up with sharp edges and dings. Since I'm using in a non-visible location they work fine
